He was born in Athens in 1961.
At a young age, in 1976 he started his journey in the field of marble sculpture learning from his father Ioanni Georgiou. The sculptor and portraitist, who was awarded by the Greek Sculptors Association, introduced his son to the art of the marble and taught him the secrets of traditional sculpture.

The origins of sculpture coincide with the emergence of the concept of the sacred and for a long time sculpture has retained its mystical and transcendental nature.

A work begins with the creation of a model of clay that is soft and malleable, so that the sculptor can study with greater ease and immediacy the shaping of the form of the volume.
