Creating

A work begins with the creation of a model of clay that is soft and malleable, so that the sculptor can study with greater ease and immediacy the shaping of the form of the volume.

In the second phase, the piece of work is transferred through a mold to a more stable material such as plaster.

After that the sculptor, who has mastered the difficult art of marble carving, measures the plaster model and sculpts gradually the marble to give every detail with great technical precision and artistic sensitivity.

If the final material of the project is copper, then it needs to be processed in an artistic foundry.
