PAVLOS GIANNAKOPOULOS

Pavlos Giannakopoulos was a Greek pharmaceutical manufacturer and former president of the Panathinaikos Basketball Sports Club.
He was one of the most important Greek businessmen, he founded together with his brothers Thanasis and Konstantinos the pharmaceutical industry VIANEX and he was one of the leading personalities of sports, as president of the amateur Panathinaikos and head of the professional basketball department.
He is considered one of the most important leading personalities in the history of Greek sports.

The statue of Pavlos Giannakopoulos is placed at the headquarters of VIANEX.
